These Habanero Francisca seeds are not currently available anywhere else in the Netherlands.

The Habanero Francisca is a Habanero variety developed by Frank Garcia from California in the US. He is also the one who developed the Habanero Red Savina, one of the hottest Habanero varieties in the world. The Habanero Francisca has a similar heat, making it hotter than the average Habanero pepper.

Habanero plant

These seeds give a good growing plant that produces many hot peppers. The peppers will be about 5 centimeters long and 3 centimeters wide. The Habanero Francisca is hot, thick-skinned with deliciously sweet and aromatic flesh. They ripen from green to orange. The plant itself has a green stem, green leaves and white flowers. This plant will not only give delicious peppers, but also looks great in, for example, a pot in your vegetable garden, indoors or in the greenhouse.

Make sure you give the pepper plant sufficient and good plant nutrition and the soil is well-drained. Pepper plates can take a beating, but don’t like to get their feet too wet. They would rather be a little dry than too wet. Keep that in mind when growing Habaneros or other peppers.

Using Habanero Francisca

The Habanero Francisca is very good for salsas, sauces and hot powders when dried. They are also good to make up. Just keep in mind that this Habanero variety is a lot spicier than the average Habanero. Therefore, be careful how much you use. Want a variety with the “normal” Habanero heat? Then check out this Red Habanero, Habanero White Giant, Chocolate Habanero or Orange Habanero. In terms of taste, the Francisca is similar to these varieties, but just slightly more floral.

Organic pepper seeds

Our Habanero Francisca pepper seeds come from an Ethno botanist. Ethnobotany is the study of the relationship between humans and plants. By taking this into account, the plants, and therefore pepper seeds, are grown strictly organically.
