The Tabasco seeds produce the Tabasco pepper, named after a state in Mexico, became known as the main ingredient of the hot sauce produced in Louisiana. The Tabasco plant grows small, 2 to 5 cm long peppers, which start out green and turn a beautiful orange-red hue. When harvested at the dark red stage, the flavor is at its best. During the warm growing season, plants will continue to grow wide and tall and produce continuously. These plants thrive as perennials and continue to produce until frost begins. Moreover, they do well when grown in pots and put inside during cold nights. Plants naturally repel pests and diseases and require little maintenance. The hit level of Tabasco pepper ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 SHU. It is the ideal pepper for fermented sauce such as Tabasco sauce.
Tabasco pepper seeds
These Tabasco seeds come from selected growers who carefully isolate and dry their pepper seeds from their strongest plants. This eliminates the chance of cross-pollination, and our seeds deliver great germination.
Organic pepper seeds
Our Tabasco pepper seeds come from an Ethno botanist. Ethnobotany is the study of the relationship between humans and plants. By taking this into account, the plants, and therefore pepper seeds, are grown strictly organically.
