These beet seeds produce a particularly productive type of beet with round roots, plenty of juice and barely perceptible rings. They are suitable for long-term winter storage and is a delicious variety with flesh that is bright red, juicy and sweet. Perfect for salads, drinks and silage.

The beet variety is bred for summer and fall use. Seeds should be sown around mid-April for the summer harvest. Mid-May to late June to harvest for fall and winter. Like many root vegetables, beets thrive in nutrient-rich, light soil, need regular water and a sunny location for cultivation.

100-110 days are required for vegetation.

These beet seeds are laboratory tested by Toraf for such things as germination, seed purity and moisture content. The tests done are according to ISTA (International Seed Evaluation Associaton) guidelines. These beet seeds remain good in the package for 2 to 5 years, depending on the batch and type of beet seed.
