pH soil test ECOstyle

ECOstyle’s PH soil test measures the acidity (pH) of your soil. The right pH level the soil of your vegetable garden is incredibly important. Low pH is the cause of problems with lawns, ornamental and vegetables in many cases. The ECOstyle pH Soil Test can be used to test the pH value of the soil in your vegetable garden up to eight times. The test is easy and quick to perform.

By mixing the soil with a tablet and distilled water, within minutes you will see a color appear in the tube. You can compare these to the colors in the package and read the pH value from that. The comprehensive leaflet can be used to read exactly how much AZ lime per m2 is needed to achieve the correct pH level. AZ Lime provides the ideal pH level in your vegetable garden allowing vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants to grow perfectly!

Preparation:
Take multiple soil samples from the vegetable garden for reliable results. You should take the samples from the top 5 to 15 cm of the soil. The soil samples collected should be well mixed. We recommend testing lawn and vegetable garden soil samples separately.

Instructions for use:

• Fill the tube with 1 cm of soil from the samples taken.
• Add 2 ml (2.5 cm) of distilled water to this.
• Add the tablet, seal the test tube with the cap provided and shake until the test tablet dissolves.
• Set the test tube aside for a few minutes until the soil settles and the liquid turns a clear color.
• Compare the resulting color to the colors shown on the front of the package and determine the pH of the soil.
