These Marglobe tomato seeds produce the Marglobe tomato plant, developed in 1917 by Fred J. Pritchard of the USDA Agricultural Experimental Station. Mr. Pritchard obtained this excellent wilt-resistant tomato by crossing Globe and Marvel tomatoes. Marglobe was first offered to American gardeners by the USDA in 1925.

This old tomato variety is known for its exceptional disease resistance and produces large fruits weighing between 200 and 300 grams.

Tomatoes are spherical and usually spotless. It is a good species for humid climates, for shipping and for preservation.

Marglobe matures about 72 days after seeding.

Marglobe seeds

These Marglobe seeds come from selected growers who carefully isolate and dry their tomato seeds from their strongest plants. As a result, the risk of disease is zero, and our seeds deliver great germination. Once the tomato seeds start to germinate, it’s a good idea to use a LED grow light, as young plants need ample light to develop strong and healthy. In this initial stage, it’s best to keep the light on for 12 to 16 hours a day.

Organic tomato seeds

Our Marglobe tomato seeds come from an Ethno botanist. Ethnobotany is the study of the relationship between humans and plants. By taking this into account, the plants, and therefore tomato seeds, are grown strictly organically.
