By crossing a MOA Scotch Bonnet with a Bahamian Goat, KhangStarr produced the hybrid known as the KS Lemon StarrBurst, also known as KSLS. Khang bred the varieties in a cross for four years to stabilize it. When choosing candidates for seed storage, Khang is quite picky; they must adhere to his standards for size, color and shape. Khang tended the plants indoors in a hydroponic culture to speed up the generation process. This variety is currently F4 and is quite stunning. It has a UFO-like shape and a lemon-colored hue. The heat is compared to that of a Bahamian goat and the taste is described as delicious, slightly sweet and citrusy.
