Buy pea seeds
These peas are a medium early variety good for fresh consumption and processing. The variety is resistant to the yellow bean mosaic virus, which makes it a hugely interesting variety for growing in your vegetable garden. Each “pod” contains 6 or 7 delicate, juicy, sweet peas that are more palatable than many other pea varieties.
It is one of the most popular varieties of peas. It is distinguished by a great yield year after year. The first year is already a good yield, but if you keep the plant alive until the second year, you will get an even bigger harvest. Although it grows well in any soil, sandy loamy, permeable soil rich in lime yields the best harvest.
The seeds are large and green and this pea variety is an early variety. It is distinguished by its excellent taste. Ideal for eating right away.
Direct sowing of pea seeds in soil to a depth of about 3 cm takes place in March and April. Peas are ready for harvest in June and continue to produce until July.
Peas are sensitive to water scarcity, especially when they flower and produce pods, so make sure you give them plenty of water so they can thrive in your vegetable garden. Peas do well in sunny areas, but they should not be directly exposed to light (minimum temperature is 15 C). Peas are a legume that can withstand even very low temperatures, so it is advisable to sow them early in the season. It is important to use spring agrotextiles to cover it in case of spring frost. Peas do not do well in dry, wet, cold or easily crusted soil, as these conditions cause poor germination and poor growth.
Peas need no further fertilization if planted in a fertile, organically fertilized substrate. However, a compound fertilizer can be used to feed it as needed. In addition to B vitamins, phosphate, calcium and iron, these peas also contain vitamins C, K and E.
