Bone meal is a 100% natural phosphate fertilizer. Phosphate(P) is one of the most important nutrients needed by a plant alongside nitrogen(N) and potassium(K). In particular, phosphate promotes underground plant growth. Indispensable in the vegetable garden because:
- Stimulates root formation
- Eliminates phosphate deficiencies
- Will be released soon
Why does a plant need phosphate?
- It stimulates the development of hair roots. Hair roots are very important for plant uptake of nutrients.
- It promotes the development of flower buds. This gives richly flowering plants and good fruit set.
- It ensures the ripening of seeds, fruits and the plant itself.
Dosage:
- 1 to 10 kg per 100 m2 (depending on need)
Guaranteed composition:
- 5% Organically bound nitrogen (N) derived from bone meal
- 16% Phosphoric acid anhydride (P2O5), soluble in water and neutral ammonium citrate
