A variety with unique, black, jalapeño-shaped fruits. It is slightly spicy and has a wonderful sweet taste. When fully ripe, the fruit turns dark red.
The plants are distinguished by impressive fertility and at the same time very decorative, the beautiful flowers are dark purple and later the plant is decorated with dark fruits. This pepper comes from the town of Kiskenfelegyhaza in Hungary.
Suitable for cultivation in pots and outdoors. It bears fruit after about 80 days after planting.
The Black Hungarian is ideal for fresh dishes such as salsa. For cooking and roasting, fruit can be marinated.
