This carrot seed produces an early variety of carrot. The roots grow about 15 cm long, dark orange, turn early and are brittle and juicy.
The root is ideal for juices and direct consumption, and can be stored for a short time in a dry environment.
To get a good harvest with this carrot seed requires light, fertile and well-tilled soil. You can sow the carrot seeds at a depth of 1-2 cm from mid-March to late May and harvest from August through September.
Carrots contain large amounts of vitamin A and dietary fiber that aid digestion and can prevent many gastrointestinal diseases.
Carrot juice is recommended in the treatment of skin and eye diseases, anemia, rheumatism and diabetes, and prevents parasites in the digestive tract in children.
