The Aji Puta Madre seeds produce the Capsicum Chacoense plant. The Aji Puta Madre is a perennial plant in the tropics. About 90 days after planting, the fruit is ripe and can be harvested. This pepper is different from other peppers because it is a wild plant, a plant found unchanged in nature.

The Aji Puta Madre pepper, or Capsicum Chacoense, is a pepper native to Chile and quite rare. The seeds are difficult to obtain in Europe. The plants are compact, rounded in shape, bushy and only about 60 cm tall. It is a beautiful plant that behaves like a ground cover, dotted with the purple fruits (and flowers) that turn red when ripe. These are similar in shape to tabasco, release easily from the plant at full maturity, are tasty and very hot.

Start early germination of this pepper variety. Keep in mind that as a wild-type pepper, germination takes longer with these seeds than with common cultivars. Generally, a germination period of about 20 days is required. In spring, the Aji Puta Madre is very tolerant of cold soils, and by August, it is growing a lot of fruit. Easy to pick, thin skin and quick drying. This pepper is a good choice for beginners to advanced growers.

Aji Puta Madre seeds

These Aji Puta Madre seeds come from selected growers who carefully isolate and dry their pepper seeds from their strongest plants. This eliminates the chance of cross-pollination, and our seeds deliver great germination.

Organic pepper seeds

Our Aji Puta Madre pepper seeds come from an Ethno botanist. Ethnobotany is the study of the relationship between humans and plants. By taking this into account, the plants, and therefore pepper seeds, are grown strictly organically.
